We know that when children feel good they grow and learn and thrive. We strive to maintain a rigorous cleaning regimen that allows the children to enjoy their environment freely.
Being in group care, children share experiences AND germs. When a child is not feeling well we do our best to keep them comfortable and reduce the spread of germs to other children. If a child has a fever (over 100 degrees), is vomiting or has diarrhea, we will ask you to come and take them home to rest and recoup. Also, if your child has any of these symptoms, please call and let us know that you are keeping them home. This helps us be on alert for symptoms in other children. Most importantly if you take your child to the doctor or the emergency room for an illness, please contact us as soon as possible to let us know the diagnosis.
We support the Arizona Department of Health Services standards on childhood immunization schedules. Upon enrollment and regularly through the year, immunization will be evaluated to ensure compliance with recommended schedules. If your child is on an amended schedule or exemption, we can discuss that during the enrollment process.
